Valentino's Pizza is a San Marcos icon. Our beginnings are vague, though we've heard some pretty wild tales about the first & only pizzeria in an old saloon on the square from the 70's & 80's.
Fast forward to today & our vision of a laid back, college & family friendly restaurant with that special San Marcos flare is still going strong.
Valentino's has continuously been voted the BEST Pizza Place in San Marcos by the University Star & the Daily Record, been featured in the Taste of San Marcos, participated in Mr. Fest, sponsored Unicycle Football & continues to be a hot spot for college students, families & tourists who want to experience what San Marcos is all about. We're located in the same historic building on the square in beautiful San Marcos with local art on the walls, live music on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays, cold beer, hot pizza & vintage arcade games tucked away in the corners. & yes, we still have the BEST all you can eat buffet for under $5!
Our pizzas are always hand made on our own special recipe dough (including the San Marcos Sourdough developed & made by us), our toppings are fresh, our cheese is grated daily, our sandwich meats are sliced by hand & we're pretty much pizza oven masters. That's not all we're good at though-- we have homemade lasagna, all you can eat salads, spicy wings, hot subs & massive burgers (& garden burgers!) to delight the carnivore & the herbivore alike.
We have an excellent selection of beers on tap, in the bottle (including handcrafted beers brewed fresh in Texas!) & Sangria made in house. We take pride in our unique selection & ability to offer a rotating selection of light to dark beers, so come by for Happy Hour (everday 4pm -6pm!) or Beer Night (Tuesdays after 6:30, Pitchers $5.50) or just to try our great food.
